On Friday, April 9 my family and I returned from our trip to Arkansas. As I was thinking about the upcoming Link service God reminded me of the fishing trip I had gone on. He showed me the similarities of the trout fishing we did and the way the devil tempts us.

I just wanted to take a minute and show off one of the missionaries we support here at Grace. Sometimes in our busyness we don’t think about what is going on in countries around the world. But the good news is that the Gospel – which is full of power to change lives – is going all over the world.
I heard on the news that Haiti had a bad earthquake – I didn’t think too much of it since you hear this stuff a lot. Its like we are desensitized with non-stop bad news. Earlier today I was checking around on twitter and I found a link to a site that had current pics from Haiti. I clicked it and was taken back at the destruction and complete despair of this area.

I’m glad you are on this new site. We’ve been working on it for a little bit and it still has a ways to go. I’m thankful for all the great Link leaders that are bringing you the new the Link. I also would like to thank the LANK members for keeping our big move a secret. The Link just grew up a little bit! I am looking for a group of young adults that aren’t interested in playing church games or wasting years as their life goes by – waiting to get serious about it.
